Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge — Memes
It’s time again for the Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge hosted by Long and Short Reviews.
Today’s topic is: Memes that remind you of a favorite book or show
I quote from movies and TV shows. A lot. Most recently, because of Matthew Perry’s untimely and really sad, tragic death, I’ve had “Friends” on my mind. I’ve been rewatching it and it still holds up. Things I say regularly? In response to “How are you doing?”
Or …
Or, heck, just memes I find that I love:
Or this… because people who don’t like “Friends” need a humor check… just saying…
Don’t even get me started on “The Princess Bride”.
In other news, I’ve managed to re-release another book:
If you’d like to check it out, the blurb and all the links may be found here: https://books2read.com/b/KitchenMatches
The sequel to “Kitchen Matches” is in edits. The cover is made and hopefully it’ll be available soon.
And, lastly, Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating. I hope it’s amazing day filled with fun, family and (of course), food!
Congratulations on your new book!
May Matthew Perry rest in peace.
Perry died much too young! Oddly enough Friends made it into my meme post as well.
Aw, Mariamne, it is so sad about Matthew Perry. I love Friends and I don’t understand people who say they don’t like it. Worse still, are the people of my generation who say they’ve never seen an episode. I mean, it’s been pretty much ubiquitous for forever. 🙂🙂
I have watched very little television. “Friends” is one show I’ve missed. “Dr Who” is another, and how many other baby-boomer favorites have I missed? I’ve never watched a whole episode of “Dallas.”
