Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge: My Theme Song

It’s time again for the Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge hosted by Long and Short Reviews.
Today’s topic is: My Theme Song
First thing that popped into my head was the theme to Greatest American Hero, largely because I feel like him very much. And, yes, I know I’ve dated myself:

But honestly, the one song that really pumps me up, that I crank and listen to on repeat and shout out the words? The Champion by Carrie Underwood featuring Ludacris:

I am invincible, unbreakable, unstoppable, unshakeable, they knock me down, I get up again…
The video is awesome. You should watch it. I’ll wait…
So yeah… there you go.

  1. Heheh! I almost picked that song, Greatest American Hero. I don’t feel like a hero, but the line ‘believe it or not, it’s just me’ sort of fits.
    Good ones. 🙂

    1. I loved the show and that song… he was just so earnest. It’s actually playing on Amazon Prime, I think. I’ve caught a few episodes 🙂

  2. HAH! That was my favorite show as a kid. Have to love a superhero who is as clumsy as I am, right?
Carrie is so good for that kind of inspiration. I wish I’d thought of it, but her song “Flat on the Floor” is another I use to get through tough things.

    1. Carrie’s stuff is just great overall … I remember watching her on AI and knowing she was going places (my kid had a crazy crush on her runner-up, Bo Bice. I wonder whatever happened to him?).

  3. I didn’t realize that either. Well, more music to add to the rotation! (And while I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to date yourself here in Texas — we have strict rules, you know — I’m old enough to remember The Greatest American Hero.)
