Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge: My Theme Song
It’s time again for the Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge hosted by Long and Short Reviews.
Today’s topic is: My Theme Song
First thing that popped into my head was the theme to Greatest American Hero, largely because I feel like him very much. And, yes, I know I’ve dated myself:
But honestly, the one song that really pumps me up, that I crank and listen to on repeat and shout out the words? The Champion by Carrie Underwood featuring Ludacris:
I am invincible, unbreakable, unstoppable, unshakeable, they knock me down, I get up again…
The video is awesome. You should watch it. I’ll wait…
So yeah… there you go.
Heheh! I almost picked that song, Greatest American Hero. I don’t feel like a hero, but the line ‘believe it or not, it’s just me’ sort of fits.
Good ones. 🙂
I loved the show and that song… he was just so earnest. It’s actually playing on Amazon Prime, I think. I’ve caught a few episodes 🙂
I loved that show. Robert Culp eating dog biscuits… I’m walking on air.
It was a great show… though, honestly, the 80s had a lot of good shows.
I had no idea that Ludacris and Carrie Underwood had a song together. Cool!
Right? It’s a crazy genre mashup, but it works!
HAH! That was my favorite show as a kid. Have to love a superhero who is as clumsy as I am, right?
Carrie is so good for that kind of inspiration. I wish I’d thought of it, but her song “Flat on the Floor” is another I use to get through tough things.
Carrie’s stuff is just great overall … I remember watching her on AI and knowing she was going places (my kid had a crazy crush on her runner-up, Bo Bice. I wonder whatever happened to him?).
I didn’t realize that either. Well, more music to add to the rotation! (And while I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to date yourself here in Texas — we have strict rules, you know — I’m old enough to remember The Greatest American Hero.)
LOL… I’ve heard about you folks down south 😉
Great choices. Agree with my colleagues — Believe it or not just me does really fit.
Loved that he was a superhero we could all identify with 🙂
Great choices for theme songs. I approve. Not that you need my approval. LOL Sing it loud and proud. Here’s mine. https://www.tenastetler.com/my-theme-song-sing-it-loud-sing-it-proud-lasr-blogging-challenge/
Thanks, Tena!
